Students from Ibn Sina College for Health Professions at Nablus University for Vocational and Technical Education organized an awareness activity at Palestine Medical Complex as part of the university's commitment to social responsibility and in observance of Pink October, aiming to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early prevention.

The event included a lecture delivered by student Shaima Yassin, who introduced breast cancer, its causes, and prevention methods. She emphasized the importance of regular check-ups and their role in early detection and treatment of the disease. The event also featured the distribution of brochures and educational materials.

Dr. Nihad Bsharat, Dean of Ibn Sina College for Health Professions, praised the efforts and initiative of the students in organizing this event under the supervision of Ms. Niveen Owais, the clinical training supervisor for the Medical-Surgical course. He noted that this reflects the dedication of the college's students and faculty to marking various medical and community initiatives that benefit the educational process and the local community.

Dr. Bsharat reaffirmed the college’s policy of supporting curricular and extracurricular activities, emphasizing their role in enriching students' academic lives, fostering volunteerism, and enhancing their sense of social responsibility.
